Freaking Fast Waverider
Enjoy an exhilarating 22 km adventure aboard our “Freaking Fast Waverider”!
This high-speed coastal ride along the stunning Mossel Bay shoreline takes around 15 to 20 minutes and delivers pure adrenaline from start to finish. Our Waverider has been re-powered with twin 300 HP Suzuki outboard engines, capable of reaching speeds of up to 100 – 120 km/h over calm seas. Hold on tight—this is one ride you won’t forget!
Your adventure begins at our booking office on Quay 4, at the Mossel Bay Harbour Waterfront.
After a quick check-in, we’ll get you fitted with a life jacket and escort you to the jetty. Once aboard Freaking Fast, our professional skipper will give a short safety briefing—then it’s time to fire up the engines… and you’d better hold on!
We launch with a high-speed run straight to Seal Island, where we slow down to cruise gently past, giving you an incredible up-close view of the playful Cape fur seals. From there, we power along the Hartenbos coastline, turn around just off the beach, and race toward Dias Beach. After a thrilling turn at Dias, we make our way back to Mossel Bay Harbour, ending the adventure with our signature high-speed S-turns—the perfect adrenaline-filled finale!
This unforgettable experience covers around 22 km (and sometimes more, depending on sea conditions), combining wave-jumping thrills, smooth high-speed cruising, and breathtaking views of the Garden Route coastline framed by the Outeniqua Mountains. You may even spot shark-cage diving boats operating near Seal Island along the way.

Briefing
Our Tour starts at our Booking office, on Quay 4, at the Mossel Bay Harbor Waterfront. Upon arrival we’ll quickly process you, issue you with a life jacket, and escort you to the pier. Once you have boarded Freaking Fast you will be given a full safety briefing by one of our professional skippers and then….we’ll start the engines……you better hold on!
Enjoy the ride
In a blink of an eye you’ll be enjoying the thrill of ‘jumping waves’ through the shore break in front of Hartenbos - already over 10 km down the coastline in a matter of minutes…..Included in the adventure are some high-speed, white knuckle S-turns and smooth but fast driving. The trip may include a quick stop at Seal Island and shark cage diving operations (this is not guaranteed). Through the tears you might admire the spectacular views of the Garden Route Coastline with the Outeniqua Mountain range as a backdrop...but hold on…there are still a few waves to jump before you get to the pier again. Enough hair raising high speed to leave you fully pumped and thrilled.
